Bio: Originally from England and Ireland, Alan draws from his 60 years as a birder and 40 years as a photographer, to share what he believes goes into making a great bird photograph.

Alan, lives with his wife Kim in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and travels every month leading bird photography workshops. He’s also an author of many instructional books and videos on bird photography. Alan has over 100 magazine covers to his credit and speaks at many photo clubs around the US.
